The start of a new month can only mean one thing – there’s a new mix of the latest and greatest titles dropping on Netflix. We’re in for some proper telly treats this February as Robert De Niro makes his regular TV role debut in Zero Day and sparks fly in the return of Love Is Blind US. Meanwhile, famous faces try to outsmart Bear Grylls in Celebrity Bear Hunt, Amy Schumer finds love in an unexpected place in Kinda Pregnant and Kaitlyn Denver stars in bonkers true story Apple Cider Vinegar. Plus, UK viewers can live stream big events from the US including the SAG Awards and WWE: Royal Rumble. Bring it on!

WWE: Royal Rumble

Get ready to rumble for one of the biggest events of the pro-wrestling calendar, as for the first time UK fans can watch WWE’s annual Royal Rumble event live on Netflix. Cheer on the likes of John Cena in his final Royal Rumble appearance before retirement, Nia Jax, La Knight, Roman Reigns and more stars, as they battle it out for their shot at a world championship match at the upcoming WrestleMania 41 event. 

Rurouni Kenshin

Anime enthusiasts, rejoice! The long-awaited remake of Rurouni Kenshin is finally coming to UK shores. The second screen adaption of Nobuhiro Watsuki’s manga follows the story of Himura Kenshin, a lone ronin (a samurai with no master) in the Meiji era of Japan. Once a feared political assassin in the Boshin War, Kenshin now uses his swordsmanship for good. Of course, on his journey to peace he encounters enemies old and new along the way. 

Celebrity Bear Hunt

Holly Willoughby hosts this exhilarating reality series that sees Strictly’s Shirley Ballas, Spice Girl Mel B, Ted Lasso’s Kola Bokinni and sport stars Boris Becker and Danny Cipriani hunted down by survival expert Bear Grylls, as they try and make their way through the unforgiving Costa Rican jungle. Big Zuu, Una Healy, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, Steph McGovern, Lottie Moss and Joe Thomas complete the starry line-up. 

Kinda Pregnant

Comedian Amy Schumer pens and stars in her offbeat romcom about a woman who fakes her own pregnancy… and unexpectedly finds love in the process. When Lainy (Schumer) becomes jealous of her best friend’s pregnancy, she starts to wear an artificial baby bump of her own which accidentally leads her to the man of her dreams. Chaos ensues, obv. Jillian Bell (Godmothered), Will Forte (Bodkin), Damon Wayans Jr (New Girl) and Brianne Howey (Ginny & Georgia) also star.  

Prison Cell 211

Inspired by a real-life riot at one of Mexico’s most notorious prisons, Prison Cell 211 is a terrifying thriller that’ll have you on the edge of your seat. The limited series follows the plight of a human rights lawyer (played by Diego Calva, Babylon), who finds himself mistakenly trapped inside a border town prison and caught up in a deadly jailbreak. His only chance for survival? Posing as a fellow inmate. Eek!

Apple Cider Vinegar

Loved Inventing Anna? Then get ready for this twisty tale about the downfall of another audacious entrepreneur – Belle Gibson. Kaitlyn Denver (Ticket To Paradise) stars as the disgraced wellness guru and convicted fraudster, who built a global following and media empire on curing her fictitious terminal brain cancer through diet, exercise, natural medicine and alternative therapies. Yikes…

The Åre Murders

Based on the Swedish crime novel series of the same name, The Åre Murders follows down-on-her-luck police officer Hanna who, after being suspended from her job and dumped by her long-term partner, moves to her sister’s vacation home in the picturesque ski resort of Åre. There’s no rest or recuperation for Hanna though, as she’s instantly drawn into the local missing persons case of a young woman who was last seen at the town’s Midsummer celebrations. Intriguing…

With all the killer robots that have come onto our screens in recent years (and we’re mentioning no names… cough… M3GAN… cough… Alice), you think that we’d have learnt that keeping AI androids in the house is not a good idea. However, Samira and her family clearly didn’t get the memo in this thriller, after they move into Germany’s oldest smart home and reinstate AI helper Cassandra who will do anything to become part of the brood. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!

The Witcher: Sirens Of The Deep

In need of another Geralt fix before Liam Hemsworth picks up his sword in the upcoming live-action series? Then look no further than this second animated feature from The Witcher universe. Based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s short story A Little Sacrifice, this original Witcher story sees our mutated monster hunter investigate a series of attacks in a seaside village, only to uncover a centuries-old conflict between humans and merpeople that threatens to break out into an all-out war.  

The Greatest Rivalry: India vs Pakistan

With awards season coming into full swing, it’s time to rub shoulders with the stars without leaving the comfort of your sofa. Kristen Bell returns to host this year’s glittering ceremony that sees Wicked and Shōgun lead the charge with five nominations in their respective fields, while film icon Jane Fonda is set to receive the SAG Life Achievement Award. 

Demon City

Based on Masamichi Kawabe’s popular comic book series Oni-Goroshi, this live-action Japanese flick is a delight for those who love nothing more than watching stone cold justice served on an action-packed platter. Set in the oppressive provincial city of Shinjo, the film follows violent hitman Shuhei Sakata (Toma Ikuta, Beyond Goodbye) as he seeks bloodthirsty revenge on the dangerous crime organisation who murdered his wife and child.

How to watch Netflix with Virgin TV

If you have a Virgin TV 360 box or Stream from Virgin Media, there are four ways to navigate to the Netflix app:

1. Use your voice
A. Just press and hold the voice button and say “Netflix” to open the app.

2. Via the app section
A. Press Home.
B. Go to the right and select Apps.
C. Select Netflix in the Apps screen.

3. Via channel 204 if you’re a Virgin TV 360 customer
A. Tuning to this channel automatically launches Netflix.

4. Navigating down to the Netflix icon in the homepage if you are a Stream customer

To search for Netflix content on your Virgin TV 360 and Stream from Virgin Media, select the Search icon from any full screen menu. Enter your Search term using the on-screen keyboard. Press back and then right to highlight the “All” filter. Press OK and select Netflix. You can now view and select from the Netflix results for your search term.
