The action is hotting up in the UEFA Women’s Champions League as we reach the quarter-final stages, when the teams know they are now just a handful of victories away from stepping out at Lisbon’s Estádio José Alvalade for the final in May.

We’re giving all TV customers with our Virgin TV V6 box (powered by TiVo®), Virgin TV 360 or Stream box the chance to watch Real Madrid v Arsenal at no extra cost.

Tune in to Virgin TV Showcase (CH 100) in partnership with the DAZN Women’s Football channel on Tuesday 18 March to watch the highly anticipated first leg as the Women’s Super League high flyers take on Liga F’s most in-form team.

Here’s how you can watch it:

Real Madrid v Arsenal

Don’t miss Arsenal’s Alessia Russio in action on the pitch.

Tuesday 18 March, 5.45pm, Virgin TV Showcase (CH 100)

Arsenal are in a joint-record 16th quarter-final in this competition, while Madrid are back at this stage after two consecutive group exits. But while it’s obvious the Gunners have bags of experience at this point in the race for European glory, the sides look evenly matched going into this first leg at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stéfano.

After both had poor starts in the group campaign –  Las Blancas losing their first two and Arsenal being defeated in their opener – both teams put together winning runs that propelled them into the knockouts. Arsenal topped their group where Real Madrid finished behind Chelsea (a real bogey team for them), but head coach Renée Slegers will be wary of Madrid’s firepower, with only holders Barcelona outscoring them in the groups.

Can Arsenal reach an eighth semi-final? Or will Madrid make history? Don’t miss this thrilling European quarter-final on Virgin TV Showcase (CH 100).

Want more women’s football? After this special showcase has ended, you’ll still have access to the DAZN Women’s Football channel HD (CH 554), at no extra cost.

Here you’ll be able to continue watching the best women’s teams in Europe battle it out for the UEFA Women’s Champions League title as the competition reaches its business end in the knockout stages, culminating in the final in May.

But that’s not all! You’ll also be able to watch live coverage of Spain’s hugely competitive Liga F to see if anyone can topple Barcelona – who boast 2023 and 2024 Ballon d’Or winner Aitana Bonmatí and more stars among their ranks. Can Barça Women make it six titles in a row?
