Virgin Media email accounts are usually closed within 90 days of your broadband being disconnected, but in some cases, we’ve missed a few.
If your email account is marked as active but you don’t have TV, broadband or a landline with us, we’ll get in touch to let you know next steps. Please keep an eye on your spam/junk folder as our emails may end up there.

I’ve been contacted by Virgin Media about the deletion of my email account – what do I do next?
· If you don’t have an alternative email account, you can set up a new account with a free email provider. Some examples are Gmail, Yahoo or Microsoft. The one you choose is completely your choice.
· When your account is closed, the contents of your email account will be permanently deleted. If you need to save any emails, you can forward these from your Virgin Media mailbox to your new email, or save the emails and attachments to your desktop or a hard drive.
· Let your contacts know that you have a new email address.
· Update the email address on your apps, devices such as TV and laptops, websites, subscriptions, alarms, digital banking, and services such as your GP and utility companies.

If you don’t have an active Virgin Media TV, broadband or landline account, our agents unfortunately won’t be able to help you.
As the email account is associated with Virgin Media, it will still be closed as O2 do not provide this service. Virgin Media also no longer provide email accounts to new or returning customers.
If you currently have a Virgin Media TV, broadband or phone service and we’ve told you we’re closing your email account, this may have been sent in error. Just give us a call on 0345 454 1111 – just make sure to have your account information to hand. This way, we can match your email account to an active Virgin Media customer account.
