Where to watch the Golden Globes winners

Where to watch the Golden Globes winners

Here’s where you can view everything from Borat Subsequent Moviefilm to Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom

By Laura Rutkowski, Staff Writer

The 78th Golden Globe Awards took place last night with a half-virtual ceremony, with the nominees attending via video chat. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted on a split screen as Fey dialled in from New York and Poehler from Los Angeles. Frontline workers and first responders made up the live audience, in place of the nominees.

Celebs joined in their pyjamas (Jodie Foster and wife Alexandra Hedison), hoodies (Jason Sudeikis), and a tux on top, sweatpants on the bottom (John Boyega), while accompanied by their children, pets (Regina King’s dog – that is all) and spouses. There was also Ben Stiller’s banana bread, which he baked in the shape of a Golden Globe.

Chloe Zhao picked up the coveted Best Director award for Nomadland, becoming the first Asian woman to do so, and only the second woman ever to win the award. The Crown, Nomadland and Borat Subsequent Moviefilm were among the big winners of the night.

Chadwick Boseman won his first Golden Globe posthumously for his role in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. His wife Taylor Simone Ledward accepted the award on his behalf, saying: “He would say something beautiful, something inspiring, something that would amplify that little voice inside of all of us that tells you you can”.

Here’s where you can watch the very worthy winners…
