Find out what’s up with WhatsApp by following our instructions on how to use the free messaging service
By Virgin TV Edit
As of February 2020, WhatsApp announced that more than 2 billion people worldwide use the messaging app. It hasn’t raked in those kinds of numbers for nothing, you know! Its appeal is obvious: it’s free to download, and allows you to group chat, send voice messages and share your location with contacts all over the globe. WhatsApp uses the internet to send messages, so as long as you have a good connection or access to WiFi, you’re good to go!
It also offers end-to-end encryption, which means only you and the person you’re communicating with – and nobody else, not even WhatsApp – can read your messages. And on Virgin Mobile, you can get data-free messaging on WhatsApp, Facebook messenger and Twitter.
