Unmissable telly deserves the ultimate in picture quality. That’s why Virgin TV customers can now watch even more of their favourite shows and the biggest blockbusters in amazing Ultra High Definition.
From Thursday 25 February, hundreds of Sky Entertainment Box Sets and Sky Cinema titles will be available at no extra cost to new Ultimate Oomph customers. Existing customers on Maxit and above can add this for just £6 extra per month. Find out more right here.
Customers who want to watch Sky Entertainment shows and Sky Cinema in UHD, plus the rest of Virgin TV’s UHD entertainment, must have a Virgin TV V6 box and a 4K compatible TV.
Sky Entertainment in UHD
Enjoy unmissable shows from Sky One, Sky Witness, Sky Comedy, Sky Arts, Sky Crime and Sky Documentaries whenever you want in brilliant UHD. We’re talking over 1,300 episodes from the likes of The Blacklist, SEAL Team and many, many more. This is telly that truly pops.
Sky Cinema On Demand in UHD
Love movies? Want to see the biggest blockbusters in UHD? With over 250 fantastic flicks available to watch on demand – including superhero smash Birds Of Prey – you’ll have the best seat in the house when it comes to the very best of Sky Cinema. Grab the popcorn and get ready to see these epic films like never before.
Virgin TV is already home to Virgin TV Ultra HD, the UK’s only linear UHD entertainment channel. Available to Full House and Maxit customers with a Virgin TV V6 box, it’s packed with gripping US dramas, incredible documentaries, rocking music concerts and more – and all with no ads. If you also subscribe to Netflix and Prime Video, you can watch shows and movies from these streaming platforms in UHD. Plus, dig in to Ultra HD content on the BBC iPlayer and YouTube apps!
And did you know you can also watch unbeatable sport in dazzling UHD on Virgin TV? BT Sport Ultimate (available to Full House and Maxit customers with a Virgin TV V6 box, and BT Sport subscribers) lets you do just that. From the Premier League and UEFA Champions League to UEFA Europa League, Emirates FA Cup and Gallagher Premiership Rugby, get stuck in to the action.

HD: HD TV set, V HD Box, TiVo box or Virgin TV V6 connected with HDMI cables required for HD channels. Number of inclusive HD channels depends on package.
Virgin TV UHD channel: Available to Maxit/Full House TV customers only. Primetime only – see channel for programming schedule each day. 4K enabled TV/device and V6 box required to watch content in UHD. Quality assumes your equipment is working at optimum standard.
Sky Cinema and Sky Entertainment UHD: Sky Cinema and Sky Entertainment UHD £6 a month. This price is on top of your existing Virgin Media cable services monthly subscription cost. Prices may increase at any time during the contract. Sky Cinema and Sky Entertainment UHD require 4K compatible TV/device with HDCP 2.2. Service usually upgraded in 48 hours, but in the case of exceptional services may take up to five working days. 30 days’ notice required to remove Sky Cinema and Sky Entertainment UHD pick.
BT Sport Ultimate: New customers. BT Sport Ultimate available with Bigger and Ultimate Oomph bundles. Sky Entertainment and Cinema UHD available with Ultimate Oomph bundle.
Maximum three boxes per customer. £30 network installation fee where QuickStart is unavailable. £10 monthly recurring service extension fee for the first additional box plus £5 monthly recurring service extension fee for any additional box. 4K compatible TV required for 4K content.
